Digital Plans Room Suite

The DPR is a niche suite of tools that started with a small project for a company in town. As mentioned in a previous blog post, it was the first set of tools we decided to migrate into our new platform that had alternate "end users", or "a system within a system".

It allows site administrators to place contracting jobs online, in a secured area for  various sub trades to login, review and download project plans for medium or large scale projects.  (Think bridge building and high-rise construction as opposed to basement renovations)

 

It started as one small project for one company but has been enhanced and sold many times since.
My favourite thing about this module: It simplifies the distribution of documents to contractors and keeps communication open between project makers and their required tradespeople.
Some customers that use this module: Filipovic (others have version 2 and will be migrated this year to version 3)
Industries that are well suited for this module: Obviously large construction houses are the main target for this type of suite.
